HELP PRESERVE HISTORY! Sharpsburgh Museum of History is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. It depends on the volunteer efforts of the community to keep our Museum operating. There are many ways volunteers are needed.
Become a Museum Docent
The Sharpsburgh Museum of History’s hours of operations are: Monday thru Saturday 9am-4pm. Docents are asked to work one 3 hour shift, either 10am-1pm or 1pm-4pm. Docents will be trained in the duties of their position and the history of the town.
Help with Children's Programs
The Sharpsburgh Museum of History has two opportunities to help in our Children’s Program. Our Children’s History Camp will be coming in the summer of 2023. Our Historical Lego Club will be coming in the fall of 2022.
Help at our Events
The Sharpsburgh Museum of History hosts multiple events throughout the year, from featured exhibits at the museum, to town-wide events. Every event relies on our amazing volunteers. We would love for you to join our team.
